Die Passerelle

Concept

This piece is about a dilapidated shopping mall below Hanover Central Station.
I was interested in the abandoned little shops that still had some of their former character like stickers on the glass windows or a forgotten broomstick.
The state of suspense of this part of the Passerelle (the shopping mall's name), characterized by what it was before was of great interest to me. Only by being empty the little shops themselves became visible.

I am interested in the change of an object that is usually ignored and only when broken or without function becomes remarkable and visible in itself. Because it is useless it obtains an existence of its own.
